Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is a solution with which we can manage so-called website tags via one interface (and thus integrate Google Analytics and other Google marketing services into our online offerings, for example). The Tag Manager itself (which implements the tags) does not process any personal user data. In connection with the processing of personal data of users, we refer to the following information about Google services. Usage guidelines: https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html.

Google Universal Analytics
We use Google Analytics in the form of “Universal Analytics”. “Universal Analytics” refers to a Google Analytics procedure in which user analysis is carried out on the basis of a pseudonymous user ID and thus a pseudonymous user profile is created with usage information from different devices (so-called “cross-device tracking”).

Google Analytics
This website uses personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests in order to optimize and analyze our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO the service “Google Analytics”, provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). The service (Google Analytics) uses “cookies”, text files that are stored on your terminal device. Generally, the information collected by cookies is sent to a Google server in the USA. and stored there.

Google LLC complies with European legislation on data protection and is certified by the Privacy Shield agreement: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

This website uses IP anonymization. The user’s IP address is shortened within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area and in the other contracting states of the agreement. Only in individual cases is the unabbreviated IP address initially transmitted to a Google server in the USA. and is shortened there. This shortening removes the personal reference to your IP address. The user’s IP address transmitted by the browser is not combined with other data stored by Google.

Within the framework of the agreement on the order data contract, which we as operator of the website have concluded with Google Inc. The information collected is used to analyze website usage and activity and to provide services related to Internet usage.

The data collected by Google on our behalf is used to evaluate the use of our online offering by individual users, e.g. to create reports on website activity in order to improve our online offering.

You have the option to prevent cookies from being stored on your device by configuring your browser accordingly. It is not guaranteed that you will be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.

In addition, you can use a browser plug-in to prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being transmitted to Google Inc. and sent by Google Inc. to be used. The following link will take you to the corresponding plugin: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about you on this website by clicking on this link (IMPORTANT: insert the opt-out link). By clicking on the link above, you will download an “opt-out cookie”. Therefore, your browser should generally allow the storage of cookies for this purpose. If you delete cookies regularly, you will have to click the link again each time you visit this website.

More information about the use of data by Google Inc. can be found here:

https://policies.google.com/privacy/partners?hl=de (data collected by Google partners)

https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=de (use of cookies in advertisements)

Target group training with Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to show ads inserted in the advertising services of Google and its partners only to users who have also shown interest in our online offerings or who possess certain characteristics (e.g., interests in certain topics or certain products based on the websites visited), which we transmit to Google (so-called “remarketing” or “Google Analytics Audiences”). With the help of Remarketing Audiences, we also want to make sure that our ads match the potential interest of users.

Google AdWords and conversion measurement
We use the services of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 9.0.1 USA (“Google”) on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of § 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO). DSGVO) the services of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, (“Google”).

Google is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and therefore offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection legislation (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).

We use Google’s online marketing method “AdWords” to place advertisements in Google’s advertising network (e.g., in search results, in videos, on web pages, etc.) so that they are displayed to users who have a presumed interest in the advertisements. This allows us to display ads for and within our online offering in a more targeted way to present users with only ads that potentially match their interests. If, for example, a user is shown ads for products in which they were interested in other online offers, this is called “remarketing”. For this purpose, when you access our website and other websites on which the Google advertising network is active, Google directly executes a code and so-called (re)marketing tags (invisible graphics or codes, also called “web beacons”) are integrated into the website. With their help, an individual cookie, i.e. a small file, is stored on the user’s device (comparable technologies can also be used instead of cookies). This file records which web pages the user has visited, what content he/she is interested in and which offers he/she has clicked on, as well as technical information about the browser and operating system, the referring web pages, the time of the visit and other data about the use of the online offer.

In addition, we receive an individual “conversion cookie”. The information obtained with the help of the cookie is used by Google to create conversion statistics for us. However, we only know the anonymous total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information that personally identifies users.

User data is processed pseudonymously within the Google advertising network. This means that Google does not store or process the user’s name or e-mail address, for example, but processes the relevant data on the basis of cookies within pseudonymous user profiles. In other words, from Google’s point of view, ads are not managed and displayed for a specifically identified person, but for the owner of the cookie, regardless of who the owner of the cookie is. This does not apply if the user has expressly authorized Google to process the data without this pseudonymization. The information collected about users is transmitted to Google and stored on Google’s servers in the United States.

For more information about Google’s use of data, settings and opt-out options, see Google’s privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads) and Google’s ad display settings (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).

Use of the remarketing function or “similar target groups” of Google Inc.
The provider uses the remarketing function or “similar target groups” of Google Inc. on the website. (“Google”). Through this feature, the provider can target advertising to website visitors by serving customized ads based on the interests of the provider’s website visitors when they visit other websites on the Google Display Network. Google uses so-called cookies to perform website usage analysis, which forms the basis for the creation of interest-based advertisements.

To do this, Google stores a small file with a sequence of numbers in the browsers of website visitors. This number is used to record visits to the website, as well as anonymous data about the use of the website. No personal data of website visitors is stored. If you subsequently visit another website in the Google Display Network, you will be shown ads that most likely take into account the product areas and information you have previously accessed. You can permanently disable Google’s use of cookies by following this link and downloading and installing the plug-in provided there: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin.

Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies by third parties by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative’s opt-out page at http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and applying the additional opt-out information provided there.
